Hi there

I bought a micro scooter today from John Lewis for my soon-to-be three year old. Here's my advice for what it's worth:

  1. Depends how tall your 4 year old is. My daughter is already 105cm tall and the handle bars on the micro scooter seemed fine. We tested it in store first.
  1. It looks like she'll have a couple of years worth of use out of it.
  1. Don't know, but the Micro scooter looks better than any of the other scooters we saw on the market and I've done some shopping around. Their turning mechanism seems much better than other scooters that just have one large wheel at the front and my daughter seemed to get it straight away. There's also a brake at the back, which many scooters lack.

4.I don't know. It depends how tall your child is and how quickly they'd outgrow the Micro one.

  1. When I looked online, all the micros are around £50. Went to John Lewis in Nottingham today and it cost £39.95 in store and it's not on offer - that's just the standard price on the shelf.

6.The handlebar seperates from the foot piece with the click of a button and it only weighs 1.5kg so I wouldn't foresee a problem.

Hope this helps
