HAPPYLAND vs LITTLE PEOPLE!

We're thinking of getting a farm for a tot. Do you prefer ELC or Fisher Price?! I'd appreciate some opinions as there won't be time to go to the shop and play before ordering!

Thanks in advance!

My dd definitely preferred Happyland. She had a few little people bits which were rarely played with. Happyland was in use every day and still looks good 5 years later!

I have bits of both. They're both good. But I've stopped buying Fisher Price and veering towards more Happyland only because I live near an ELC and the shops here don't sell as much (or as much variety) of ELC. My DS also likes the Happyland space stuff. Depends what your kids like really.

Am too thinking of happyland for Christmas. It's for a just 2 year old girl. What sort of age span do you think it lasts for ?
Having trouble deciding between boot and cottage!

Happyland is great!!! We have loads of it. My older DD (6) got a lot of it when she was 18 months and played with it for hours on end. We have added to it over the years and now my younger DD (2) loves to play with it too and her big sister still likes to get in on the act Grin

My daughter's got the cottage and she loves it - putting people to bed, in the bath, on the toilet!! It's hysterical.

Preference for happyland here - it mixes and matches better I think. DS (2.3) loves it, especially the cottage. He likes the farm too. We managed to pick up the village set last year half price in Debenhams which was a bit of a bargain.
