I'm looking at buying a secondhand system. We have no problem with dismantling or transporting (200 miles from SE wales). The systems we like are around £9k new so willing to pay £2k max.

First of all has anyone bought a used system and was the wood starting to rot? What was good/bad.

I've seen systems for 9 years old but is it worth the money and what price would you put on this? assuming it would be here another 6 years would it be ready to put on the bombfire after 15 years?

What are the maintenance schedules on these as I see its got a life time warranty but this cant be so as the wood is softwood and perishable.

There are others on the market but this brand seems to have quality & longlivity.
