does anyone have a skuttlebug??? are they any good??

was thinking of possibly getting one of these for my boys birthdays they will be 2 and 3. are they really as small as they look??? would the be work on grass and bumpy pathways???

We have one and my three boys have never really used it. It just seems slow and difficult and they've never got the hang of it. At 2 and 3 I'd probably go straight for the 3 wheeled micro scooters, which they love and have been able to use from about 2 1/2.
