Being sick everyday for 4 weeks

As the title says. Ive been sick everyday for the last 4 weeks, usually just a little. This time it was quite a bit. Not sure why I was sick as not eaten nice lunch time. I have a doctor's appointment on the 19th for something else. Do I wait till then and talk about it adding to a list of things I have to talk to them about or call 111 in the morning? I'm not pregnant. Pregnancy tests are negative so not sure why I'm being sick. Dont usually get stomach pains with the sickness and nausea but tonight I'm in a fair bit of pain right in the centre of my stomach.

I second this. If the neighbours I no longer know - different lifestages - knocked and said help, I would if at all possible.

I'd find it much harder asking for help though.

Don’t let them fob you off. The last time I was in A&E for a different region I witnessed a doctor actually lying to a patient that a CT scan could only be used on small areas and wasn’t suitable therefore that’s why they couldn’t have one. I knew this was a lie because I’d had one privately a few months prior of my entire abdomen.

of course the real reason is cost do not be fucked off. It could cost you your life.

Have they checked that your hernia isn't twisted/strangulated? Please ask them if you don't know.

Hi, not sure if anyone else has said this, but appendicitis starts near the belly button before moving to the lower right side. Hope you get to the cause of this soon

OP if no luck today is there another A and E? What region are you as maybe a MNetter could accompany you. I really think they need to investigate more

OP you have my sympathy, as I’m going through something not so unsimilar myself.

Started feeling dizzy about 2 and a half weeks ago, with awful pain in my right stomach. Increasing nausea, very upset stomach. Struggling to eat and drink. I’ve been to A&E 3 times in the last week as it was just unbearable. First 2 times, all they did was blood tests and then sent me on my way. I went back to my GP for advice and was given an urgent ultrasound, which showed nothing to explain the pain. The third time I ended up there was because I was taken in an ambulance after my blood pressure dropped low at night, my DH came with me and we asked for a CT scan. This came back with no answers either unfortunately. Next step is for me to have a colonoscopy.

I really hope you get some answers soon as it is horrific feeling like this, not knowing any way to quickly resolve it.

OP I’d be worried about a blockage or perforation please insist on a scan. As pps have mentioned quote Martha’s Law I used this for my husband in hospital and it saved his life Good luck and hope you feel better soon x

Great news that they are looking more closely at you but dont be disappointed if you dont get answers or think its in your head. Ive had countless tests and its taken years.

I hope you do get some answers though.

Strangely Im going through the same thing.
I went to the local A&E and was discharged with a flea in my ear and told off for wasting their time. This was despite having had projectile vomiting and not keeping food or fluid down for 3 days.
Well I wasn't having that. A quick look on AI told me I need immediate assessment and treatment.
I rang 111 to discuss my options, Im an ex nurse also, and they sent an ambulance for me and took me up to the big hospital that has a gastroenterology unit.
I was taken immediately for a CT scan, IV fluids and admitted for gastroscopy.
They discovered that I had a strangulated deflated gastric band that had slipped and was cutting off the blood supply to my stomach. Im going in for surgery next week to have it removed.
They took it VERY seriously.
I think you may be developing a strangulated hernia which is VERY serious.
You need to call 111 first thing in the morning and get an ambulance to the nearest hospital with a gastroenterology unit.
Take an overnight bag because you may be there for some time.

Its been 3 days of being in and out of A&E they finally doing more then just blood tests. Just came out CT but they are keeping me in tonight.
