We live in a city , bus stop right outside all the usual city stuff !
we have put an offer in on a house about 40 mins away, lovely house in small village a- no shop, bus or pub. Nearest town is 7 miles away .
Our daughter is off to uni in September and we thought this would be a good time for us to move to the country as this has always been my husband and my dream.

any experience of this ? Is this sensible now my daughter is off to uni ?

Just a heads up for those saying 'she should learn to drive over the Summer'. If you get up to try and book a test when they release them this week, you are looking at December for the first available test.
Even the theory tests - a 17 yr old I know told me last Saturday he had just booked his THEORY test this week. He took the first one available. It is in October.

Did they move far ?

To be fair, they did, several hours away. I think any distance that requires planning make a difference though. We moved towns when my dd was at school and she lost touch (aside from insta etc ) with friends there.
