So three weeks in with a trainer and I now have a dead lift RM max of 85kg. Let's see if I can beat that before Christmas.

I am 70kg BTW

I love deadlifting. So today was a good training session.

I tend not to do the RM approach (always a bit worried about my back).

I currently do four sets of five reps, with the last set at 75kg. It should go up to 80kg in a week or two. Nothing impressive but, in my defence, I only weigh 55kg Blush

Some very impressive stats on here.

Keep lifting Smile

I think it's pretty impressive, NiceLegs - last week I did 4 sets of 3 reps at 75kg, but not sure I could do the same at 80kg. I weigh around 70kg, but am a shade over 60 in age ... (That's my defence)

NewPB on the deadlift: 87.5kg

I weigh 70kg and am in my early 60s but only started lifting heavy about 2 years ago so feeling pretty good about it

It didn’t feel as heavy as when I lifted my previous PB. @ 85kg so I think I’m stronger!
