I left high school 20+ years ago. Had a good school friend at the time - he and I didn't really socialise outside of school, and this was before social media and smart phones etc. But had a number of classes together in school, spent a lot of time together at breaks and probably had somewhat of a crush on each other, but nothing substantia, and we didn't keep in touch after school.
In the last 10 years I will have the most vivid dreams about him, probably 1-2 times a year. Vivid enough that they really make me think they might "mean" something. I dream about lots of people in various capacities, from different times in my life. But these ones are different, often him in distress in some way. It's hard to explain, but they are always significantly more vivid than others.
Just had another last night. And wonder whether to reach out in some way. I don't have any ulterior motives, I'm in no way interested in anything other than checking in with him, but also recognise how odd it might sound to get in touch and say I've done so because I have dreams about you ha. He isn't on any social media as far as I'm aware so it would mean me asking for his details from someone else. Again, is that a strange thing to do? I can't help thinking I need to make sure he's okay. Has anyone else had anything similar?
