OK so I am feeling a bit tired today and not sure if I am on my best tarot mind, but here goes.

I got the ace of pentacles reversed, which could represent a missed or lost material opportunity, perhaps? Or something fell through that you thought might come off? Or perhaps you didn't notice or recognise an opportunity that was available. Was it too late? Then the moon - you are possibly not seeing things as they are - anxiety, shadow work, things might have been tough lately and you might be projecting a bit! Things may not all be as they seem (perhaps related to the opportunity? are you seeing it as a bad thing, when it could be a good thing? Or vice versa?). Beware of projecting, illusions, fantasy etc, it is likely your subconscious might be trying to push its own agenda through and you are projecting it out. Things are unclear and hazy and perhaps unreliable. Finally the princess of cups - a creative opportunity or sweet message, perhaps something emotional (love?), but again, do you have your head in the clouds a bit? Your imagination and daydreams can be used for good - perhaps a creative, imaginative or loving outlet is good for them, rather than let them run away with you (avoid overthinking or projecting (the moon). You may be over-idealising someone or something. Get a bit creative , have fun and enjoy yourself - it might get you out of your anxiety head a bit.

That's so spot on, it's scary! You're good! There's no-one else involved but he is emotionally manipulating me and probably not good for me. Been together 25 years. Said he wanted marriage over and then the next changed his mind. Put me through he'll and the trust is now gone. My fear of not being able to cope and abandonment issues mean I'm probably obsessed with him not leaving. I used to practice tarot years ago, just a few with friends out of interest as a hobby, not money etc. Am shocked at how accurate you are. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. Has certainly given me somethings to think about.

@Cottonplease aww thank you for your response - it is good to know that the reading resonated! I was worried it might sound too scary for you! always a balance to be struck I think. It really does sound like you might be better off without him (without my tarot hat on - just from one MNer to another!). Sounds like he is leading you up the garden path! I wish you well and do look into those unhealthy bonds. Shining a light onto them is the best way to start resolving them. Best of luck :)

Ok I get the sense you are moving onto something new - a transition phase. A rite of passage. perhaps you have been in a difficult situation recently (physically or mentally?), but you are moving on now and something new is on the horizon (could involve travel over water / sea, or just be a metaphorical journey of some kind!). Despite recent bad weather, the sea is calm and the horizon is clear, the the horizon has civilisation and signs of hope on it, so hopefully whatever it is will be ok, perhaps you are moving towards a new place to work or live? Maybe some stability after something difficult. Then a man - perhaps he is someone related to your career? The King of Swords - related to the energy of air. A leader of some kind (you, your boss, a partner?) He is an intelligent strategist - an intellectual. Perhaps you need to use these clear minded intellectual skills in your career? Or perhaps you need to work with him - he may be a bit strict or cold, but is generally fair - he could be a great teacher or someone you could learn from provided you don't mess about - as he will quickly see through you if not. He values truth and honesty and advises you to use your intellectual capacity and analysis. So employing and exercising your analytical brainpower may help! Finally the World - this represents the culmination of something. Perhaps an achievement - an award - perhaps you are ready to show something off to the world? Have you completed a project? It is likely to be well received! Or the completion of a long term life event perhaps? E.g. graduation, marriage, release a book you wrote? It looks good! As one cycle ends so a new one begins - such is the flow of life!

@BunfightBetty Further to your original message above, which I just re-read - I'm wondering as well if the King of Swords could relate to the need to use those analytical, brain power skills of yours to see things as they really are - if you think you are missing something it is the perfect time to trust in your own ability to see through to the heart of the matter - you are clever enough and intelligent enough. It's about seeing things as they really are - cutting through to the heart of the matter. Balance your intuition with your intellectual prowess and your brain power - you will see clearly if and when you need to. You can do it! And if you personally see something bad that should be avoided - well, the World card (which came after), could just mean the culmination and completion of something - maybe something you choose to end, because you saw the truth of the matter? The end of a cycle? A bit of a different take to the above.

Actually it looks pretty positive! It was a general reading and doesn't necessarily predict the future but a sense of what may be going on now and your state of mind. The king of pentacles - he relates to being in charge of your own material world - earthly pleasures, money, health, property etc - self sufficiency and so on. He has worked hard to attain this - he is reliable, steady and patient and knows how to deal with all things material. Perhaps this is who you want to be! Or perhaps he is someone you know? Boss, partner, someone else? Secondly the seven of pentacles - you may have spent time working hard lately patiently building your work or nest egg or other material project perhaps? You have sown the seeds now it is time for patience while they mature and grow. Finally the nine of cups - this tends to be a card of "your wish is granted" - emotional success, contentment, satisfaction and enjoying what you have around you - whether that is love or money I am not sure - but all in all a good card. I think overall the reading represents having put some hard graft in, but made sensible decisions, investing your time, energy and resources wisely, and then these decisions in time leading to enjoyment, satisfaction and success, in some way or another. It could be a good time to make some wishes or just sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labour soon although obviously be sensible and try to make wise decisions. These things cannot be rushed though! Hope this is helpful.

@riverforest5678 to add to that the Empress could be a matriarch of some kind you know perhaps? If not yourself? Or your own feminine power - perhaps the universe is providing for your needs, you are the empress and and you can lean into your own feminine power. She has a level of creative force she can employ. Perhaps you could be birthing a new project of some kind? If so that energy could be available to you.
