Could a kind reader do one for me please about the immediate future? To other posters, please don't post if you're going to say it's nonsense etc.

hello! happy to pull cards for fun only - caveat - base your decisions on professional advice! :)

I pulled the knight of wands - it is a period of change and opportunities, he has a lot of desire for something and he has the energy and strong willpower and desire to go for it. A strong passion. It is often a sign to say you should really go for your passion. As long as he puts that energy out into the world (pursues the direction, gets those applications out there) and pursues something he is truly passionate about, that energy will be channeled into the right thing. If he's not going for something he's truly passionate about then that energy would be misused, potentially, and could represent a challenge - is he aiming at the right thing? Is he misusing this energy in the wrong way? Or is he channelling it in the right way towards the right thing. Six of cups - this is about looking backwards - moments of sweetness and sharing - perhaps linked to career or activities he enjoyed in the past. He might find some inspiration in knowing what to pursue based on what he enjoyed as a child, or something he did a while ago perhaps that bought him joy? Or revisiting something he did in the past, something he perhaps stopped doing - there may be value in returning to a previous path or opportunity that passed a while back. At least, there should be value in remembering what he really loves to do and what brings him joy. Finally - the eight of swords - this often represents a bit of a victim complex. He may feel like the situation is out of his control - and feel anxiety, limited, trapped or restricted in some way - but the bonds are loose and these bonds are only in his mind - he needs to recognise he is free to move out of this limiting way of thinking and walk away to something new any time. He is not as trapped as he thinks and he has options - he would benefit by stepping out of the mental bonds (or away from what he perceives as a limiting situation)! I hope this is helpful :)

I understand that - Im in the spiritual world myself as a reader and have many friends who are also readers both with Tarot and wax, and friends who are mediums

This was just purely about the starter packs for someone getting ‘into’ it
So no spiritual knowledge
and those starter packs are the same in every single shop. The ones what have the meaning on the card.
So with someone who just has a basic interest and wants to play around with the cards i think those kinda packs are fine

If you are an actual reader and in an active spiritual community then things would be different but readers would actually know this

Just someone playing around and not really knowing what they are doing, normally havent got the funds to spend alot of money on proper Tarot cards, atleast not until they know for sure if they have that gift

Again I do get what you are saying, but you can get official decks (from Amazon, for example) for just £8-£10 these days, so I could never personally endorse counterfeit decks, even to justify someone who had never read using them. As I know so many artists and creators that have been ripped off it is a real bugbear of mine.

Firstly I got the five of cups, this can be a card of depression, sadness or loss where you have felt very down about something (perhaps your illness or some emotional loss). Maybe you are over-focussing on your symptoms or wasted opportunities and not noticing the other good things remaining, e.g. the people who care about you, or opportunities you still have. Have you got some emotional baggage you are carrying around with you? You might want to try to move on from it - as there is a lot of good available to you - try to refocus and enjoy and work with what you do have, this may help with the rest of it as well. Let go of the sadness by focussing on the connections who care about you, this may help. Secondly the six of pentacles - a card of giving and receiving, a positive card. Might there be a person or charity who can help you? It could be worth reaching out, as there is help and support available to you - perhaps financial or practical support. Or perhaps you can give something of value to others in some way (doesn't necessarily need to be money - maybe just calling a friend to offer some kind words) - karma is cyclical, and by giving you can also receive - it works both ways. You don't have to suffer alone so do seek out people who can support you as they are there. It can sometimes mean a return to good health, perhaps with the help of supportive people. Finally - you got the Wheel of Fortune. What goes down, must come up, and vice versa. Again representing cycles of change, for better or worse. Perhaps you have been in a bad cycle but your luck could change soon? Or a change of lifestyle could help? Either way, stop over stressing about it, as it's not 100% in your control. Be aware of the ebbs and flows of your energy, your cyclical wellbeing and health, and flow along with them, rather than fight against them. Acceptance and leaning into cycles of change.

Perhaps some big things are going on at the moment? I got the Judgement card which can often mean a time of big change - perhaps into a completely new paradigm. A rebirth of sorts? A call to accountability. Are you stepping up? A call from the universe to do big things, but with that comes big responsibility - facing yourself and seeing every part of you for what it really is - so that you may face a big change or challenge. Sometimes a spiritual awakening of sorts. Time to step up and honour that inner calling. A big deal card! Then, the Sun - shining your true light - it is time to be the person you are inside - authenticity, vitality and a kind of innocence of being - your true self shining forth. Could it be time to put yourself out there and shine a bit? Show people who you are? It is a really positive card. Just remember to be authentic. Finally - the four of swords - with all this big stuff going on - it may be time to retreat a little and recoup some energy - perhaps before you or while you face all the big stuff, you need to rest for a time, so you can be at your fullest when you need to step up? Quietness, meditation, rest, renewal in quiet - so that you may face these big things (Judgement, and the Sun) when you need to. You must when necessary offset all the big activity with the opposite - remember to take breaks and lean into your inner world to recuperate with some alone time. Don't go too crazy and aim for some balance when needed.

Alternately it could all mean you are putting a hella lot of energy into something massive but perhaps it is exhausting and with all that yang energy you also need some time for recuperation - maybe you are going a bit too hard and fast at something and need a bit of balance as well.

I have read the Tarot cards for years and left it behind. I see them as a vehicle for opening up avenues of thought, not as a predictor of anything, just opening up thought patterns. A good pack to start with is the New Palladini tarot pack. But you must be aware of the question, the person's reasons for asking it and be able to open up angles of thought for the person to benefit, all feedback is neither positive or negative. Having said that, my aunt who died gave some very accurate readings in terms of the future but without a pack of cards she also could see what the personality in front of her was going to do/achieve/need so I do know that the driving force behind asking a question is very pertinent.

I am really really struggling to land a job. I have been unemployed for nearly 9 months. I was earning quite well before being made redundant.

I am scared now with respect to mortgage payments as I need to remortgage mid next year with DH and we got house based on 2 salaries. Can't afford on one. So we will have to move to a much smaller home. Plus we've not had any holidays since 1.5 years. Don't see it happening this year or next because of lack of funds. Patience is also running out. Constant loop of rejection and application.
And at this speed my savings are running out.

@ajooni I did pull a few cards - it looks as though yes things are tough - there may be a bit of a drought going on at the moment and also perhaps other people in competition for the jobs or disagreements or internal conflicts (perhaps you don't fit into these roles you are applying for well? Is there a better fit, the cards warn against self sabotage as well). Also some poverty consciousness perhaps - a vicious cycle - this may be bringing you down a bit, but it might be more in your head than in reality. The best solution may be to try to cut through to the heart of the matter - strategy, organisation, you need a bit of a master plan - rise above to really see what is going on. Is there a way you could perhaps work for yourself somehow? Or see the situation differently - you might not be able to see the woods for the trees but taking a broader perspective and seeing reality as it really is may help. Also a period of withdrawal or retreat may help a little - the Hermit suggests that you need a little time to do some inner work, retreat - perhaps take a little time to work on your own needs and projects for something that may help you in the long run (even take just a little break from the norm for self nurturance and self growth). Additionally the hermit suggests a period of frugality may assist - this is about casting aside anything you don't need and focussing on what really counts only. Finally for the 5 of pentacles (the card I mentioned about poverty consciousness) there is support or financial support out there but you may be missing it - too focussed on being hard up to see a place or a source of support that may be available - help is there you just need to see it, approach it and ask, perhaps there is some shelter, charitable support or a job available within your community somehow? Or an opportunity for income that you may not have thought of? You might be surprised - there is something there - you just have to open up to the idea - it might not be what you wanted or expected but it will be a help. Broaden your expectations and horizons a little.

Agreed on retreat. I've been pleading for one night trip locally to just unwind. And not think about home / chores / job for 24 hours. I'll plan one this week.

I am hitting a wall in 3 -4 areas perhaps due to competition or lack of matching role. I can't find many like for like. Even where there was a matching role in another organization I was rejected without as much as an interview as it was my senior ex colleague who probably didn't like me.

I have got the job seeker financial help but that will be over soon. I am trying to get as much help and as much coaching from my ex colleagues / friends as possible.

I need to reassess myself and the situation. Do you think the situation turns around? Is there a time frame? Like a month or a year? Maybe 2 years ?

@ajooni that sounds super tough. I wouldn't personally like to guess on when things might change as i don't feel qualified enough but I think if you are hitting a brick wall a couple of days break (at least) if you can manage it will be good for you! A change of scene often helps ones head (even if it is just a mental break to do something different for a little while). Perhaps you need to apply for another role (that you wouldn't normally consider) just to tide you over perhaps? Or think a little out of the box? Finally I always find (on a personal level) giving my own house a massive declutter and clean really helps shift energies - I know you might not believe in this - but perhaps something like that might work. From a feng shui perspective clearing out, decluttering, deep cleaning and moving things about a bit and freshening up can bring new energy in - perhaps this might help? Just an idea and I realise not everyone will vibe with this. But it always works for me! Good luck :)

Hello - just for fun reading. You got Ace of Pentacles - perfect for a new start (job!), it's a good omen to go for it - there's a lot of potential in this role you just need to build on it - as well as the 7 of pentacles - you've been putting the hard graft in and it's starting to pay off - the seeds are planted - wait to see them grow as they will. Wow! I got the 8 of wands - which is basically a card of flux - everything up in the air - lots of swift action and possible messages and / or changes coming through. Speed, movement and action. Lots of opportunities. This could be in more than one area of your life. Then the ace of pentacles - there could be a new financial, earthly or material beginning - usually something good (another symbol of opportunity!). But perhaps there are some conflicts going on (5 of wands) - is there a little competition over something, or conflict over one or more of these opportunities? Others you might be competing with, or a disagreement? Or just a mental confusion? Make sure if you are fighting for something it is worth your time and energy. Perhaps you are also struggling with anxiety as well with everything going on. Try not to be a victim, you are free to leave at any time and if you are feeling a bit trapped then realise you can walk away whenever you want. If you have a state of mind that is no longer serving you then you can walk away and step out of it at any time. Definitely seems like an energetic time for you.
