I’ve had a few experiences over the years but absolutely nothing like what I experienced a couple of weeks ago…
Driving home from the school run and it’s starting to get dark (about 5ish). My son and I are talking about how snow is forecast. I said ‘No way will it be happening tonight’ as I looked down at the temp gauge and saw that it was 10 degrees and then I looked out on to the road and there was an inch of snow. When I looked up there was glistening snow everywhere.
I immediately react by slowing right down and gripping the wheel as we are going uphill and I start saying ‘how has it snowed without me realising?!’ ‘I don’t drive in the snow!!’ Start becoming worried. I look at the pavement and see the depth of the snow, bright white and glistening. I look up as I’ve reached the brow of the hill and there is no more snow. All gone.
Parked outside the house I ask my son. ‘ Hey when we were driving up the hill just then did you see any snow? To which he replied ‘No!’ He did hear me going on about the snow which puzzled him as there was no snow.
My friends and family (the open to unusual experiences kind) were all very concerned when I told them of this so I’ve not mentioned it again.
What has gone on? Anyone had anything similar happen to them?
Would just like to add that I don’t drink, take drugs or have any known mental health conditions.
