So, so weird!!

I know I might be slated for this but I am going to put it out there anyway. I was invited out to a medium/tarot type thing at my friends house. I was a last minute stand in for someone who dropped out as my friends knows I'm not much into this kind of thing. I don't disbelieve or believe. I have an each to their own kind of attitude about it.

Anyway I was last to go into the room and I was trying not to give out negative vibes or anything. Initially she was pretty off with a lot of stuff but then seemed to get into her stride and was getting some things right. A recent break up and the like. Then from no where she pull out a name of my friend who died about two years ago. No deliberation's or fishing for the name (like giving out initials or could be this could be that) just straight out said her name. Then a few minutes later pulled out my mums name Patricia. Again no phaffing about trying to find out the name just came out with it. And quoted something my mum used to always say to us all the time.

It totally floored me if I am honest. I am 49 years old so good chance my mum would still be alive if she was guessing and also I am not on social media so she couldn't have checked anything like that. My friend who invited me is from work and does not know about the death of my friend or what my mums name was so its not like she could have filled her in prior to going there.

Has anyone else had this kind of experience?

Yes. I went to a girls night in round a work colleagues house. She said she'd invited her friend who was a very proficient and well known tarot reader / medium so we could get a reading and then essentially get to the drinking part.

Im a total sceptic so went in and very politely had the tarot reading done which was so uneventful that I cant even remember what they were.
Post reading she said "You've lost somebody close recently, she's here and says everything is going to be okay" Generic enough.
I said "Umm, I don't know, can you describe her?"
She said "Stylish woman, well dressed, older, used to spending money she says" (this was an in-joke between me and my mother)
So I said "Ahh, that sounds like my mum" - She had died of cancer months before.
Woman says "She's very emphatic that I have to tell you that everything is going to be alright"
I got a bit awkward and said thanks, and then got up to leave the room.
As I was walking out she said "One more thing, she says to tell you that there are no pockets in a shroud"
That was my mums motto, so I went white as a damned sheet.

I did consider that she may have searched me or asked colleagues or something, but I'm intensely private so shared nothing, particularly not that phrase.
Also, I cant be found on social media.

Ive always wondered after that.
