Separate section for tarot requests?

What you all think? personally I hate it when I see that there is a new thread on the paranormal topic only to find its someone asking for tarot advice. I just find it disappointing, when I am hoping for something more interesting, only to find its yet another tarot request.

And does anyone know how to go about asking Mumsnet HQ to make a new section?

I think you need to post your request on the 'site stuff' section to request it.

Nellieinthebarn · 24/02/2024 19:24

Thanks @OldTinHat I will do that if there is any support from fellow paranormalists. I am quite prepared to accept I'm overreacting, I do have form for getting annoyed at trivial things.

Its the requests for psychics that depresses me as you know exactly how that is going to go without needing any psychic ability whatsoever!

Couldn't agree more, Nellieinthebarn. I too am finding it really tedious and irritating. But maybe I am overreacting too—notably, most people seem to be ignoring so don't think we're the only ones. Don't mind so much if people offer it on a thread, it's when you get new thread after new thread of people demanding readings. Although that is partly caused by the offers, I think.

Yes. Would it work to merge them into one thread? Maybe not. They don't interest me. Sometimes I just want to read a bit of woo, and instead of spooky stories the topic is full of tarot crap.

Nellieinthebarn · 28/02/2024 16:53

I've posted the request on site stuff.

The constant bloody requests for tarot readings really spoill this board, I'd visit more without them!

Could you all comment on my thread in Site Stuff, I think that they only take notice of that. Cheers
