The paranormal

Something breathed heavily in my ear last night

I'm no stranger to weird unexplained things happening, I grew up in a very active house paranormal wise but not a lot has happened since I left home 10 years ago.

Last night, I was laying in bed and could hear my 6 month old DD coughing, she's had a cold/ear & chest infection for the past 3 weeks and is on her second lot of antibiotics.

I laid in the dark listening in case I needed to get up and hold her upright/rub her back to help soothe her. Anyway, she must have stopped and I must have dozed off but at 2:55 I woke up to a very heavy breath in my ear, as clear as day, jolted me awake.

I turned on my night light and DD was rolling around her cot kind of silent coughing like she couldn't breathe, I immediately lifted her out and as soon as I did she started coughing loudly and then went back to sleep.

I sat up with her in my arms for an hour to check she was breathing properly and she was settled.

I feel really unnerved but also reassured like somebody was looking out for DD!

Twenty odd years ago, I fell asleep with my baby on the bed. She was on the edge side but a distance away.
I was sleeping but I could clearly ‘see’ her rolling off the side of the bed. I woke up just in time to see her fall . She fell on soft carpet- I feel awful but she was ok.
Very strange but I think we are very attuned.
