Very vivid images - would love to hear thoughts

Had a very vivid dream last night.

Anyone on here have an idea of dream interpretation?

Dreamed was driving a car and saw two black whales breaching (not leaping but visibly both coming to surface). I was in car and looked out over white sandy beach. I was behind another car that a school friend was driving (a separate car). The whales were close to shore but not in any trouble. They breached a few times at the same time and I recorded it on my phone. Other people saw this and were excited.

Also later I was somewhere where there was a mythical sea creature like a mermaid but not exactly, something that was a top secret/no one in the general public knew about, being kept in a very small pool in a secure room in a facility. This female female creature was angry, possibly about being kept ? At one stage she managed to get hold of broken glass and those working there were concerned, possibly because she could harm someone?

Hmm...something about personal growth and manifestating a new way of being but you're feeling unseen or invisible or trapped by others expectations?

Whales may be to do with emotions and being beached might indicate being stuck or repressed.

Cars are the journey through life. The school friend might refer to a younger part of you that is developing. Maybe she is leading you somewhere you need to go or learn?

Mythical sea creature sounds like you're in touch with your spiritual side and desiring expression of it.

Just thoughts. Only you can know what it really means. Great dream though!

I was also thinking of spiritual power....and the public (aspects of you) fearing it because they don't understand it.

The childhood friend represents the part of you who wants to grow and get in touch with another way of being.

I am actually going through a period where I really want and need to change a part of my personality so perhaps you're right on the money with the personal growth. I did wonder why I saw two whales in the water moving up together in tandem. It was like dolphins in a way moving up into the air just slightly and then back into the water. I think it's called breaching?

Oh yes, apologies I was reading it as beaching. I would suggest the whales breaching is you trying to communicate with different parts of yourself, maybe your thoughts (air) and emotions (water) to find balance between the two? It's very interesting that both whales are black because black is generally the colour of manifestation because it has the potential for all colours but it can also be very but it can also be a very repressed colour.

I guess I was thinking the mermaid might represent your soul and the part of you that is unconsciously driving your life in terms of the myth. If you're consciously wanting to develop you are activating a massive force which can seem scary but it's a really good thing. Is there also some conflict about wanting to revert to a childlike way of being? I'm struggling with this so it could be projection! Myths are very powerful though which is why I thought of it. Our personal stories are all founded on underlying myths.

I thought it was about whether you are behind your friend/peers (in the car) or alongside her (like the whales swimming).

School of whales/school friend/school of life.

And anxieties about whether you can really be authentically female and at the same time break the glass ceiling.

Interesting that the whales were only just about clearing the surface, not leaping out together.

I think you are wondering how you are doing in life and also anxious about your power and ambition and if it is dangerous.
