Meditation and things happening in room.

Hi everyone.

I have recently been getting back in touch with my spiritual side and this afternoon took 30 mins out to meditate and contact spirit guide. Something I've not done for years

I followed a guided meditation today as they really help me focus and got into a great meditative state. I made and initial contact with my main guide and then bought myself back out.

Upon getting up to leave the room and getting on with my day a door to the TV unit was open - this is a strong door that clips closed. Doesn't pop open by accident and it just has DVD's inside (that we don't watch anymore)

As my son has been at home I went and asked him he he grabbed a DVD - he hasn't been anywhere near the cupboard and has been up on his computer.

Can this happen during meditation. Or is it just a very very strange occurrence?

This door does not open by itself.

How do you know what you’re contacting reaching out into the ether like that. Take things slowly and carefully if you haven’t been doing this for years because once you’ve opened a door to the other side it is very difficult to close and you never know what will follow you through to gain a foothold in this dimension.

I used to get stuff like this happen when I was meditating. Light bulbs light used to flash on and off, lights appear in my peripheral vision, furniture would creak. I don't meditate as deep I don't meditate as deeply as I used to so this sort of thing doesn't happen anymore and I kind of miss it. I'm also struggling quite badly with depression which I think is probably blocking a lot of stuff out.
