Unless you can convince me otherwise...
I'm still in shock. Walking through the grounds of Christchurch College in Oxford, we entered the cathedral. My teenage dc and I had our headphones on for the guided tour. As we were leaving the cathedral (I was walking ahead) I felt someone prodding me in my shoulder. Immediately assuming it was one of the kids, I spun around only to find them a long way behind, concentrating on the guided tour.
I must have paled or looked horrified because as they came closer they asked what was wrong and if I was OK. I asked them if they'd prodded me and both looked genuinely clueless as to what had happened.
Any plausible explanations? My son, ever the sceptical scientist has suggested a nerve pinching. Er, no. It was definitely a distinct feeling of being gently but firmly poked twice in my shoulder.
