The unexplained
I've just met a relative from the future.

I think 😂.
I have a relative who's 5. I will call him Ben. Ben was named after his dad who is also Ben. I've always thought that must be confusing but it's their choice. Anyway, 5yo Ben was born with a flat side on his head. He still has it now. He also has a streak of grey hair at the back behind his ear. Quite distinctive.
Earlier today I was in a shopping center lift when a man got in with his son. I'm rough guessing he was in his 30s. At first glance the man looked a lot like 5yo Ben. The face shape, mouth & the nose, then I noticed his head was slightly flat on one side. I let him leave first as he had his child and he said come on then Ben to his son! When he turned I could see the grey streak of hair behind his ear.
It made me go cold!
Obviously I know it wasn't my relative from the future, but was enough to spook me.
Anyone else had a similar encounter?

I mean, my first thought would have been you just saw Ben's real father 😂

@Mymoneydontjigglejiggle 😂 it was bizarre though.

I saw myself once when I was abroad. Walking out of a hotel gym/swimming pool. I was sitting in a cafe outside. I looked up and saw an identical woman and my immediate thought was it me walking past, but she had very short hair. Exactly like me, even her walk.
Then she was gone, no-one else saw and it was so bizarre I kind of shook it off but I was someone sure it was another version of me, not just someone who looked like me!
As it happens, I went back to that hotel 9 years later, with my second husband, and we did use the pool.
I’ve just - thinking about it now - gone back through my photos to check, and at the time of the second visit I did have very short hair!
I don’t remember seeing a man that first time though, with her. Then again, I’d never laid eyes on my DH at that point, so wouldn’t have noticed if he had been following her/me out…
