Ghost stories real

Anyone seen a ghost and can they share it here?

I myself haven't but really fascinated.

NC for this…around 4am this morning, woke up for a wee and a smoky figure was about a foot from the side of my bed…I’ve only lived here a few months and have had disrupted sleep and a strange smell in my bedroom, despite lots of cleaning etc. I’ve moved furniture and been cleansing with white sage today and saying you’re not welcome here. I’ve left white sage in my oil burner next to my bed smouldering away so 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 that’s done the trick.
This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered such, many years ago there was a shadow figure I saw walk through a wall in a house I lived in. I’ve also seen a spirit cat in a care home I once worked in and unexplained phenomena such as plugs being removed from sockets, put back in, only to be removed again at the same care home.

I used to have a really good mate-until we lost her to bloody cancer
anyway,I was hanging around,waiting for my mother to come and pick me up to go to her funeral
I was sat talking to my ex on the phone when I jumped up to get a Diet Coke from the fridge
shut the fridge door-and screamed the house down
my friend was standing there,as solid as you or I
she smiled and faded away

it was a comfort to know she was ok

I would have absolutely crapped myself but I see what you mean by comforting. It's great she showed herself to you.

I live literally next to the town graveyard.
Even before I moved here I've seen things though. I saw an old lady in my last house, she waved at me then disappeared I almost shit myself.
In my current home I've been here 7 years. I've had all Manor of things go on. My children see things out of the corner of their eye, cupboard doors slam in the night, my dogs bark and growl at nothing. But the best one hands down in the summer 2020 just before I split with my husband. I was using the bathroom about 1am husband asleep, covers pulled back because of the heat him in just boxers. From the upstairs loo right next to my bedroom I heard the loudest slap sound. Husband wakes up yelling. Something had whacked him on the outer thigh really hard and left a massive red mark. it scared the life out of me but also gave me satisfaction knowing even the ghosts hated him.
