Just to be clear - I'm not here asking for a free reading! And I also appreciate that not everyone believes in psychic/medium abilities, but this is for those who do.
Background: i am an empath, so I am acutely aware of people's feelings, and sometimes that extends beyond feelings to 'knowing' things, mainly with those who can't communicate for themselves like animals or babies, I just seem to 'know' what they want/if something is wrong.
I've never considered myself to be psychic, or able to connect with spirits. But during a recent reiki session with a trusted friend, mediumship was something that came up. Friend was as stunned as I was, but said that it was a definite message to consider mediumship.
Sorry that's quite long, my question is, how did you know it was something you could do and wanted, and how do you connect? I made an attempt last night and something came through but I don't know if it was just me imagining it or someone connecting.
