Alarm clock spookiness

I was at my parent’s house recently when the alarm clock went off ( evening) in my recently deceased mother’s bedroom. It’s one of those small Casio type battery clocks that a switch / latch has to be pushed up to actually set the alarm. It definitely has NOT been going off daily since she died. What could have caused it? Though in some ways I’d love it to be a sign ….

Afters70 · 26/02/2022 15:22

Yes I think a hello from your mum too.

KylieCharlene · 26/02/2022 15:24

I'd also like to think it was a sign from your Mum.

My uncles broken clock started ticking the day his brother(my dad) died. He didn't know at the time

An alarm clock did this in our house after my grandad died. It also went off the next day.

That’s interesting @Garfieldismyspiritanimal .The alarm hasn’t beeped since. And the day it did go off was just a normal day. Batteries still going. I’ve half been hoping it would beep again on a more significant date such as her birthday or anniversary of death etc. Very strange. I can’t but help think it must have been nudged somehow, though I can’t think how and would have required a lot of force to actually move the latch up. So puzzling.
