Do you think that we have karmic connections with places? A psychic told me I have a karmic connection to a particular place and it is true I am drawn there but I can't live there due to an abusive ex still living there. Can't 100 percent settle in the new place but also can't easily go back to the old place. Do you have a soul place and can / do you live there?

I don't know, but when we went to collect the keys for our house that I'd never seen, from a town I'd never visited, the town square was a place I had dreamt about many many times before over years. Can't explain it.

I think the place I now live has become my soul place. I can’t imagine leaving here ever. I could do what I’ve always done and live abroad for a bit, or another part of the country, but I feel now that I’d always have to come back here. It’s so calming. I didn’t want to move here, DH already owned the house and I’d always lived in the City of London as an adult and didn’t want to move to somewhere so dull - so I thought. It’s got everything, wild coast, remote country (some of it a teensy bit spooky 😉) but I just don’t think I could ever leave.

You think you are drawn there because someone has told you that you are.

'Psychics' are just charlatans making money from the gullible and worse, the bereaved.

I don’t think so but I do think we are often drawn to certain places, types of buildings, scenery. I absolutely yearn to live in a tiny cottage somewhere in tbe Cotswolds and love reading books set in small villages. There is no reason at all that I can think of why I should feel drawn to such places except that I love small, cosy old cottages and the scenery in that part of the country.

I had a book as a child, about miss strawberry. It wasn’t until my mid 40s that I realised I had bought the White House, with the curved driveway, and the garden with the pond on page 16 Shock. It is now home and I can’t imagine leaving here. Smile
