White Feather signs

I had a photo painted of my partners late grandparents with our DS who they never had the chance to meet. One day I was dusting and noticed a white feather stuck in the frame right in front of our Ds face. He had been really poorly in hospital at the time. My DH came home and I showed him and asked if he did it he burst into tears so I knew instantly it wasn't him. We had no visitors to the house due to it being Covid lockdown. I'd really like to think it was a sign of my partners grandparents protecting our son. Of course no one believed us because surely it had to be one of us, it definitely wasn't me and my partners reaction makes me believe it wasn't him. Has anyone else had anything like this? Signs your loved ones are there?

You might be familiar with Julian Lennon's anecdote about white feathers and his late father. His experience inspired him to start an international charity! As far as I can tell, many people around the world have had similar experiences which give them hope and comfort. I've had some too. Losses too dreadful for words can be borne a little more easily by faith and belief, whatever anybody else says. Take what you need from finding that feather where you did, when you did.
