Mystery photo on bed

Went to bed quite late last night well after dh was asleep, used the torch on my phone, got to my side of the bed and it glinted on something shiny. Turned out to be a glossy school photo - facing me - of a boy I've never seen before. Dh has never seen the photo or the boy.

Bed was made yesterday morning and to my knowledge nothing had been on it. Total mystery.

I'm not much of a woo person but it has spooked dh!

Yes, good call, having given it some thought I suspect it came out of a second hand book. When we talked about it later I asked if dh had been reading at bedtime and he said he'd started a new book that he bought on eBay, so I reckon that's where it came from.
No idea how old the pic is, it's just a small glossy photo of a boy, no obvious hairstyle clues or similar.
