Unexplained smell of an old perfume

This happened back in January 2014. I was visiting my mother in law who lives 100 miles away, and was 11 weeks pregnant and having pains and spotting blood. I went for a lie down on New Years Eve and suddenly a strong smell of an old fashioned womens perfume filled the room. The door and windows were tight shut and there was no explanation for it. It disappeared as fast as it came on. I thought no more of it until a few days later when I arrived home to my flat after getting a scan which told me I had a missed miscarriage.

My husband was still at his mums. It was my parents and I who walked in the flat, they turned right into living room and I walked left into the bedroom. After walking in to the room immediately that same old woman's perfume came on again. Very strong and unexplainable. Window was tight shut and my parents hadnt sprayed anything. I think it might have been a message from the other side.

Also, I got pregnant with (my now 6 years old) twins a few months later. I had pains and spotting at 7 weeks and on the day I walked into hospital for the first scan a butterfly flew past my face just before I went in. The day we took them home 8 months later a butterfly the exact same colour flew past my face as we walked out the door. I believe that to be a sign too.

About a year after my sister died, I went to see a medium. She told me that my sister would make her self known to me by way of a perfume smell. She said it would be a 'cheap' one that I used to wear, something like Charlie or Exclamation. I was thinking at the time that I wouldn't recognise the smell as I can't remember what they smelled like. I forgot about it, and then about 6 months later I was in the car on my own. I suddenly had an overwhelming smell of CKOne, that I hadn't worn for years. I was quite puzzled and looking around wondering where it was coming from. I then remembered it must have been my sister making herself known. I haven't had it before or since, but I took it as a reassuring sign that she's ok
