high electricity bills

Hi mums!

My gas&electricity bills are coming out at £130-£150 a month. I live in a modern two bedroom flat. I dont have a tumble dryer or hair dryer and dont leave lights on or have the heating on a lot. My neighbours, who live in almost identical flats are paying roughly half!

I've had the metre checked and its not that. Has anyone had this experience and found the reason?

Have you checked what tariff you are on? Have you done a price comparison?

Check u aren't on economy 7. Also check nobody is tapping into yr supply. E.g. Cannabis farm. Do u read the meters regularly? Use money supermarket to switch to best utility company.

A smart meter can help to confirm usage at times of day. If usage overnight it can only be the fridge /freezer. If during the day you'll just have to figure it out
