Nope not got to the bottom of it and a few other things have been happening.

There was no water on the side. I know there is probably a rational explanation but I have no clue.

I am the op but can't name change back for some reason!

No the dishwasher had finished the night before but I don't usually turn it off unless started a new cycle. I usually just open the door (bad I know).

So apart from a few toys and over strange things it's been pretty quiet. Until tonight.

I heard metal falling. And just found a metal name plaque door thing with my eldest's name on in the middle of his bedroom door way. The thing is we swapped bedrooms with him about 3-4 weeks ago and took the plaque off the door and it went off in a bag to the dump.
