Feathers

Why do I keep seeing white tiny feathers? I know they are sign of angels. They are in the most random places and there is always just one of them at a time!

I'm aware not many people are into this kind of thing so please be kind.

I've been seeing loads lately as well. Enough that I've started to notice them.

bluebella4 · 26/11/2019 21:15

I'd like to know the meaning.. I'm not sure what I should be focusing on at the minute so a bit guidance would be great lol

HermioneWeasley · 26/11/2019 21:17

They are from birds. Probably pigeons. Nothing supernatural

Oh, and I am saying this to be kind. Take control of your life and stop looking into woo for answers that don’t exist there

FenellaMaxwell · 26/11/2019 21:19

Aren’t feathers just a sign of birds...? Here on the south coast we have an abundance of giant evil bastard seagulls - there are little white feathers everywhere. I’m pretty sure this isn’t also the pearly gates or anything.

ironickname · 26/11/2019 21:20

Could be from pillows, cushions or down jackets?

bluebella4 · 26/11/2019 21:43

@hermioneweasley aren't you just a joy! Where did I say my life is out of control?

Elieza · 26/11/2019 22:04

We’re you thinking about anything specific when you saw them?
Try asking the angels for guidance. They are around you. At night when it’s quiet and calm get a pendant on a chain out and ask it to please show you what a yes indication looks like. It should swing in a circle or back and forward. Thank them and ask what a no indication looks like. Again it will swing in a circle or back and forward.
Then ask questions with yes no answers.
Thank them.
If you are feeling brave get someone to give you tarot cards for Christmas. Practise and they can be quite helpful. I don’t go mental on it though. I’m not on them daily! I go to a medium once a year. She’s told me things I’d forgotten about that were very specific and not generalised and her predictions are bang on. It’s great when you find a good one.

Sksksksk · 26/11/2019 23:14

Many birds moult throughout the year so at any time there are birds in partial moult. Obviously feathers are extremely light and floaty so you can find them more or less anywhere.

bluebella4 · 27/11/2019 09:03

@Elieza thank you for your reply! I love my angel cards. It's fear that's holding me back from a specific thing. But I'm biting the bullet 😀

OP posts:
bluebella4 · 27/11/2019 09:13

@sksksksksk I'm well aware that feathers come from birds and they will come off.
I'm very open and spirtual. I believe in signs and that unexplained things happen for a reason.
I have lost 2 babies and I believe they are my angels and are by my side everyday.

I also believe that people who are mean and unkind need support and positive energy. I pray that they find peace. I feel it is their own issues that makes them behave like assholes to others- why would anyone in their right mind mock? Everyone is intitled to an opinion but that doesn't get them a good reason to try and make someone feel shit about what they believe in- simple!

OP posts:
FenellaMaxwell · 27/11/2019 12:59

So if you know feathers come from birds then you know they aren’t angels. Of course your babies are with you, but what bonds them to you is love. Just love. It’s not anything extra. Things that are holding you back come from you, so stop looking for answers elsewhere and have some faith in yourself.

Slaymill · 27/11/2019 13:00

@Elieza What county is you medium in ?

keepingbees · 27/11/2019 13:06

A few years ago I went through a hideous personal trauma. I found feathers everywhere throughout that period. In places they shouldn't have been, fluffy ones laying on the path in front of me on a windy day. I've never found that amount of feathers before or since.
Make of it what you will but it gave me comfort at the time. Things turned out as well as they could. I felt something was telling me it would be ok.
Nobody knows what's out there. Believe what you want to believe, no one can say it's right or wrong.

Winterdaysarehere · 27/11/2019 13:08

When my friend was killed, the next day 4 doves landed on his garden.
I am not a spiritual person but I did smile. Whenever I see a feather I think of my friend.

Bluelightdistrict · 27/11/2019 13:11

I find them too.

From my feather pillows/ cushions.

bobstersmum · 27/11/2019 13:19

I believe in angels. Last time I was going through a rough patch I asked them for help, literally walked into the next room and there was a tiny white feather on the floor. I had a difficult pregnancy with my first and I found feathers all the time, it made me relax and I knew everything would be OK.

Elieza · 27/11/2019 14:17

OP if you are struggling with something and you see feathers around then you know the angels are there for you. Get your cards out and think of the thing you fear and ask them what you want to know. Then see what they tell you. Meditate if needs be. The pendulum yes no thing can be really helpful too. Good luck

@Slaymill I am in Scotland.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 27/11/2019 14:19

I found two in my bedroom, where they shouldn't have been - no feather bedding, animals, open windows - one was on my bed and the other was by the door a few weeks later. I dont usually believe in woo stuff but I wondered if they were from DH to let me know he is nearby. It is a little peculiar how they just turned up.

Slaymill · 27/11/2019 14:20

Thank you @Elieza a little further north than I hoped if anyone knows anyone good in Shropshire/Midlands area please let me know.

bluebella4 · 27/11/2019 16:18

@FenellaMaxwell In your opinion! Doesn't mean your right. My post is to the people who are on the same spirtual level as me. Why do you comment when you don't understand or believe?

If you dont believe that's your choice an I respect that but I don't need you challenging my beliefs. To me the feathers indicates Angels are near. Either to bring an message or to guide. But many people (I believe can communicate with them) work with them. Only certain people.

OP posts:
clairethewitch70 · 27/11/2019 17:03

I believe that they are from angels. Also as I have started training in Angel Reiki and also working magically with Archangels, the number has increased. I don't have feather pillows.

bluebella4 · 27/11/2019 17:40

@Clairethewitch70 that sounds fabulous!! Best of luck in your training! I love reiki too. I go every few months for my sessions and it's bliss 😀

OP posts:
HermioneWeasley · 27/11/2019 19:46

ClaireTheWitch

Perhaps in between your angel reiki training sessions you might investigate the reticular activating system in the brain, and cognitive biases including confirmation bias?

OP, you are hilarious. You claim to respect the sceptics, but call us assholes, and in need of support and positive energy. You think you’re open minded, but are so narrow minded you dismiss the character of anyone who doesn’t share your faith.

FWIW I am full of happiness and have a wonderful life. I make a point of having a wonderful life because I know that I have one life, my time on this planet is short and I want to make the absolute most of it. To misquote Dawkins, “isn’t it enough to know the garden is beautiful without having to believe there are fairies at the bottom of it?”

bluebella4 · 27/11/2019 20:36

Thank you for thinking I'm funny. I do like to make people smile.

I said "behave like assholes to others". I didn't say sceptics were assholes for not believing. Telling me to "take control of me life" = asshole comment. Which wasn't needed! Furthermore, I said people who are mocking need support and positive energy because I don't think mocking someone's believe is kind! Keep that to yourself, that also is not needed!

I do respect other people's beliefs. Sometimes I many not a agree on them but I keep that opinion to myself and scoll on, you don't know how important that believe means to them. You came onto my post, so it's my believe which you challenged.

I'm so very glad to read that you have happiness in your life.

I have had a few feathers fall to my feet, I had one recently. On the school run and we have a kind of main road we cross and I was feeling anxious, all of a sudden there was this feather falling down to my feet. Wink
