How kind of you to be doing this. I would be very grateful if you would do a reading for me. I understand if you can, then I may have a long wait which of course is fine.

Is there anything we can do to return your kindness? I expect most people are here because they're not financially able to pay someone, but would we be able to send you a small voluntary donation or is that against Mumsnet rules? Or could we make a small donation to a charity of your choice?

I scraped together the money for a psychic once and was bitterly disappointed, I would have thought she could have been more accurate even just by guessing. I am very impressed at how helpful and accurate people are finding your readings...

Hi there. How kind of you to think like this, but honestly, I am doing it because I enjoy the challenge of finding the 'story' behind the cards as I turn them over. It is giving me practise and helping me to make connections that I perhaps wouldn't otherwise. If people find them accurate and helpful then that's wonderful, obviously.

Because tarot speaks of the human condition, there wouldn't be many of us that couldn't relate to some version or other of the snapshots that are shown here. I am using them here in a divinatory sense using the traditional meanings: if I had someone in front of me I would be able to also enter a dialogue with them and talk about the deeper layers that the cards represent and how they could be used in a more meditative sense, which is how I prefer to use them when laying cards for myself. So as they stand, the readings are very rough glimpses into existing situations.

Rather than a charity I would be delighted if you could all remember to try and pay forward a little kindness when you can, whether it's a listening ear, an unasked for gift or a kind word to someone when they might otherwise be struggling. I think it's those things that can make a real difference in the day to day and we often overlook it in the scrum of everyday living.

You seem to have had a hard time of it recently; maybe some kind of inner battle? The seven of wands is in your past, which can sometimes refer to a feeling of defensiveness against the world, as though you alone are fighting your demons. However it does look as though you have had some respite from your trials, in that the cards show a time of rest and recuperation, or perhaps just you have discovered the ability to go inside yourself and turn the 'off' switch. Maybe you have found mediatation to be helpful.
Right now it seems that you feel relatively grounded, but you are unsure as to someone's intentions towards you.. is someone being secretive or witholding their feelings? It might be that you are wrapped up a little in your own internal life and as such are not looking outwards enough. Or that you are looking outwards but perhaps not in the right direction at the people who can help you.
There are a lot of swords in your spread, and they can indicate mental strife, so do take some time to self care. The eight of swords in your future indicates more of the same, I'm afraid but it can be seen as a positive card in so far as the restrictions and fears you currently have are of your own making. It can feel that you can never get past them, but it is entirely possible to change your thinking once you have faced up to your fears. The power of the mind is incredible if harnessed right.

Have you had questions regarding a close relationship recently? There seem to be doubts and uncertainties connected to your home life. Perhaps it is unrealistic expectations of a happy home life that have been plaguing you -do you have impossibly high standards that you hold people to? There is certainly something casting a shadow in your life at the moment, although The Moon shows that it is entirely possible that you are blowing your worries out of proportion and they aren't founded on anything concrete.
Are you currently separated from a partner? It looks like a temporary hitch rather than a full on split. what I have here is someone who has felt as though they have been stuck in a rut ; or as though their attempts to get things done/start new projects have been thwarted at every turn. I also have, potentially; the birth of a young boy; a Taurus or a Virgo? Your past, present and future look as though they are concerned with very separate things -Your past efforts will be rewarded, but the going is frustratingly slow – it looks as though perhaps there is a lot or paperwork or admin in the way?
