When I was a kid my parents would take me to old country houses and churches, and in every place I would feel very unwell in certain spots - dizzy or sick or shivery. After returning from some houses we would google more on their history and almost always where I felt unwell was where something terrible happened or somewhere reputed to be haunted. Then the dreams started. I have dreamt of a death occuring (unexpected ones) the night before they happen, and last summer visited a friends house overnight - its an incredibly old house and used to be a religious site. I stayed on top floor and awoke in the middle of the night ( hadn't had any alchol or medication) to see something in front of me - it was the shape of a young boy and all the particles which made up the shape were all blurred. I blinked multiple times, this thing walked to the end of the bed then right up next to me as if he were looking for something. Next day I was walking down the central stairwell and was on the phone to my mum. Suddenly all the hairs on my neck start to go up and despite it being a warm sunny day outside I start to shiver, feeling under real threat, all of a sudden my phone cuts out and TURNS OFF without me touching button. I find out from my friend day after that the topfloor where I was staying was thought to be the nursery in the past and a monk had been cited before in black cloak AT THE TOP OF THE STAIRS. None of my family get these vibes that I get but it is interesting I keep tuning into all these things - maybe i'm just looking into it too much but seems peculiarly accurate 🤔 Even dreams about a past life and I awake with certain german words relating to the war in my mind like Luger - I dont speak german at all and have never heard that word before but turns out was a pistol used by german soldiers in the war🤔 anyone else had experiences like this? Don't know whether to call myself an empath, psychic or simply strange😂

I'd describe your experiences as psychic regarding 'the paranormal' - you seem to be very attuned to energy/vibrations that connect to people whose deaths have been somehow tragic and have left 'traces' that create a sort of energy field that certain people are acutely sensitive to and can therefore perceive images and sensations that many of us don't pick up on. That's as far as I understand and can articulate possible theory underlying your experiences. There's a view among people who believe such explanations that there are small areas at various points around the world at which 'the veil between the worlds' is particularly transparent. Some people can pass through such areas and perceive nothing remarkable; others have all sorts of 'psychic' experiences at those sites. A famous one that I know of and have visited twice on retreat is Iona off the coast of Scotland, near Mull. I had some profound experiences of synchronicity between my dreams and 'reality' there. A beautiful, powerful place.

Across the British Isles lies a system of 'ley lines' which are reputed to have powerful points of convergence that provoke various types of events and occurrences that are the stuff of legend. If you're not familiar with the term 'ley lines' enter it as a search term. I think you'd find it fascinating and if you live in the UK you can find out where your nearest ones are and visit sites along them, see what impressions you pick up.

Your dream experiences that you attribute to possible past life experiences are likely to be another facet of your awareness of the coexistence of all points in time and space. Ultimately, no scientist can successfully dispute the view that we may be reincarnated. Since Einstein and Bohr such arguments have essentially floundered on redundancies, and mystics and Tibetan Buddhists have believed for many centuries in the 'fact' of past lives, so you're not alone. Personally I find your anecdotes have the ring of truth. Have you ever considered joining a group that would help you to develop your skills? I'm not convinced by spiritualist churches but many spiritualists aren't what I would term 'psychic', and are more like 'cold readers' and 'mentalists'.

Thank you so much for such an interesting response - yes I have but can't seem to find any near me ! I will look into it more though if you think there sounds like there is something to all these experiences!
