So the other day I was at home with the kids, sat in the living room while they played. Living room door was open, looking out to the hall.
I heard a noise in the hall, like something dropping, so I glanced to the hall. My son's pram was there with a blanket and some toys on top. I saw the blanket move a little and one of the toys on top jumped a few inches into the air and fell on the floor.
Is there any scientific explanation for items jumping into the air?? Would understand if it fell onto the floor, gravity and all that, but I don't get how it jumped up.
I've lived here a few months. I've experienced other things too such as doors being open when I thought I had closed them and I once heard a woman singing very faintly during the night, but I suppose they could be explained.

Do you have a cat

No, no animals. My mum said maybe a mouse, but I got up straight away to look and there was nothing there.

It could be possible that the blanket was tight and kinda sprung and acted like a trampoline and some how propelled the toy up??

Wind? A draft? Wind up toy? Electrical toy that vibrates?
