Just lost 8 minutes?!!!

So I've just been watching Tv, heard my phone ping with a message, sat up to read it and thought I'd better wait a while before I reply (it's a guy, don't want to be too keen etc) looked at the time and 8 minutes had already passed...

I'm so confused!!!!

So you heard the message ping, read the message and then looked again and 8 minutes had passed?

Sometimes there's a glitch with the time on my phone. If I turn it on it sometimes shows the time I last looked at at it and then seconds later it updates to the current time.

Oh yes my phone does that too. Usually when I pick it up after work it's showing the time I was on my break and then it updates to the correct time.

He is warping time. This is a massive red flag. Hes probably a time lird and will disappear out of your life to a distant universe

Possible the message arrived 8 minutes ago and you didn't hear it but then heard something on the television which sounded like a message alert.

Also possible that your phone is playing up. I get alerted to messages minutes and occasionally, hours after they've actually arrived.

My phone pings again if I've ignored the message first time round, I think it's only after 2 mins though not 8. Could that have happened if you didn't hear the first ping?
