This is going to sound weird but for me it's comforting. I had to have my beautiful cat put to sleep yesterday. He really was one of the family, loved so much, we talked to him like he was a human and got responses back, that kind of thing. We had him for almost seventeen years and I know we succeeded in giving him a happy life knowing he was loved and cared for. We are all completely devastated and know it is going to take a long time to get used to him not being here anymore.
I have had an excruciating ankle condition for about three years, really painful, it often feels like someone is stabbing me in the ankle with a screwdriver and it hurts more or less all the time.
Well weirdly I have had no pain in it this morning. It doesn't feel tight and is not hurting at (all well so far.)
Is it possible in some way that my cat has been able to heal it? Or is it just the fact that I'm hurting so much inside that I'm not noticing the pain?
I have posted this in unexplained so please don't criticise me if you think it's a ridiculous notion, just move onto another thread without commenting.
