Dreams of children past

Not too sure what to do about a weird thing that has happened to me or the past few days. Any advice welcome! I live in an little village next to the local church which has two graveyards, never felt anything odd, in fact I get a feeling of warmth and comfort from the house and often say good morning to the couple buried next to my wall by the compost heap Anyway, two nights ago I dreamt that a child was sad as no one came to their grave and felt lonely, didn't think much of it but this morning I opened my front door and thee was a hand from what looked like a little doll sat on my door mat. I know it wasn't there last night as bought in some logs in and the mat was clear. I haven't mentioned it to anyone so I know it's not a sick prank. I feel bad if I ignore it but I certainly wouldn't want to offend anyone by nosing round looking for a child's grave, I would certainly think it was a weirdo

I don't think anyone would think you odd to just have a look around - I think it would satisfy your curiosity although I don't know how you would know which child you dreamt about. Good luck!

Thank you Cosmo, I had a wander across and found a corner, right by the gate with three or four old stones of children who were very young, in the same area. I put a little bunch of snowdrops on each one - they were very old and didn't look as if I was interfering with any visits. Hope I've done the right thing

I think that is a lovely thing to do, bless you. And even if the graves do receive visitors I think anyone would be very touched to see that someone has put snowdrops down. Have you had any more dreams? :-)

There's nothing weird at all with that, its nothing I wouldnt do. Its lovely. I do believe you were drawn to do it though, very mysterious!

No more dreams, I think I'll wander over and say hello every so often tho, thank you both for understanding
