Where did my tin can opener go?

I opened a can of tomatoes 3 days ago for a nice bolognese. Lovely.

Yesterday I needed it to open a can of chick peas and it was nowhere.

Not in the bin, not in a cupboard or drawers. Not in the kids toy box or even in the garden. And I've asked the 2 elder monsters and they are sure they don't know where it is.

It's disappeared. I'd like it back. I had to hammer 2 cans open yesterday.

Where could it have gone?

It may be with my camera. It has disappeared off the face of the earth. Just gone. Re traced steps of last day I had it, phoned round places I went that day (though I could swear I brought it into the house). Gone. Vanished.

Wish I could find it. Had lots of photos that I hadn't downloaded

Teenagers bedroom in my experience. Why mine feels the need to take it upstairs is beyond me.

My tin opener went missing a couple of weeks ago too. It's a conspiracy. I've had to buy a new one.

Maybe the fridge? Or did the phone ring after you opened the tin, so you went to get the phone holding the can opener, and put it somewhere odd?

It's dropped down into the cupboard underneath the utensils/cutlery drawer.

I thought I had lost a brand new pizza slicer, hunted high and low, it turned up months later in the dcs play dough box

I don't know but it must be with my potato peeler that was an engagement present(!) Best one I ever had and I still want to stab dh with the new one every time I use it.
It's not as good and I know dh threw the old one away with the peelings although he denies it.

I've checked the cupboard under the drawer. Not there.

We were given an electric can opener for our wedding by DHs nan. It vanished from our kitchen work top never to be seen again. We had a new kitchen fitted and moved and it just vanished! It was big too, so unlikely to have been binned accidentally. Spooky!
