Are you happy with the standard of care they get? I realize that it's not the same as looking after your own horse - she won't get the attention that she would if she was outside her front door, and it is a very busy working yard, but would you expect, for example, for them always to remember to put her fly rug and fly msk on? Or to put her rugs back in her box, not chucked over a fence in the field? Or to always remember to put her boots on when she's jumping or working on hard ground? Not sure what is reasonable

they sound more than reasonable expectations to me - I had early stirrup leather traumas, mine kept going missing, but that's been resolved and there was a bit of unpleasantness when I found him wet in a stable with no bed once but that feels like a long time ago now

to be honest I would worry that if things like fly rugs and masks and boots were not taken seriously, would the staff be similarly careless about picking out feet? or adding the right supplements to feeds? or changing/topping up water?

go straight to yard owner and make her/him aware, there are well in excess of 50 horses at our yard which is a showing yard and a riding school a satellite college centre (BHS, NVQ etc) so I'm not sure that is any excuse - we have a book to write things like that in too, and notice boards and white boards around the place where you can also remind people: 'remember Spirit's boots before jumping/x country' or whatever, 'please sponge the wet sand off my tack' in tack room etc etc

I can cope with the occasional lost headcollar or broken lead rope, small exchange for all the stable doors and fences my lads have broken

Definitely reasonable. Have you signed a contract, if so this should outline the level of care you pay for eg rug changes, feet picked out etc.
If not go to yard owner and ask specifically what services are included and what is not so you know.
