Can anyone recommend a riding school near Bristol/Bath?

Hi

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of somewhere good around Bristol or Bath? Or anywhere to avoid? The only place I've heard of is Urchinwood Manor Equestrian Centre but have no idea if it's any good...

Thanks

Summerhouse Equestrian Centre is very accessible from Bristol as it is straight up the M5 just off J12. I had a couple of stage 2 prep lessons there and also took my stage 2 there and the horses were nice, the facilities seemed very smart and professional and the instructors were very knowledgeable.

Urchinwood is supposed to be very good. I think i had a private lesson there (if it is the one I am thinking of) and enjoyed it very much - however it was a long time ago.

Depends on what you are looking for though, there are a few nice smaller riding schools around that area - Clevedon Riding Centre is very nice in a relaxed kind of way.

Barton End Stables near Nailsworth are good too - nice selection of horses and ponies and very professionaly run.
