Our local riding school used to borrow my mum's horse for their boozy rides as they'd always have so many people wanting to go. Good job the horse was Mr Reliable as they used to be gone for hours and be very out of their heads cheerful when they got back.
Probably nowadays they are forced to be content with half a shandy 'for safety reasons'. Shame really, I'm sure it was much more fun the old way .
