Winter is approaching and I have so many gloves but non that tick all the boxes. I just want some waterproof easy to wear gloves that I can do jobs in and also ride in. Which do you all recommend? I was poo picking yesterday and wet wheelbarrow handles are awful!

I haven't come across any that can do everything! The waterproof ones are too chunky for fiddly things.

I use marigolds when it's warm ish and wet. For wet tools, barrow handles. Cheap and cheerful.
Sealskinz are good, and waterproof. Ok for riding in but i would use them for yard work or riding, not both (not same pair anyway!)

Agreed. You're not going to find one glove to do everything. Plus, I don't want to do smelly jobs like mucking out using my riding gloves!

I have a pair of warm/waterproof gloves that I use just for outside work that doesn't require much finger dexterity - poo picking, filling troughs, breaking ice etc. They are warm and waterproof, but are double layered, so get absolutely buggered if you wash them, so I never do any smelly work with them. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01NCZXA35

I have a pair of cheap work gloves morning fiddly/smelly jobs - mucking out, turning out, changing rugs etc. These are cheap, so I buy loads and wash them a lot. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B075FKP4ZK

I wear Le Mieux gloves for riding. They seem to last the longest. These are my current gloves. Technically summer gloves, so probably not suitable for hours and hours outside in the cold. However they are thin, a nice level of grippiness, and have good feel. https://www.lemieux.com/pro-mesh-glove-black-2275
