Action camera recommendations

Dd (12) has asked for an action camera for Christmas to use when riding. Does anyone have any recommendations? Don’t really want to spend Go pro money but also do t want to waste money on something that doesn’t give good results. Thanks

We got a second hand Go Pro off ebay. The older models are still really good. You might find a bargain :) Its super easy to use. My kids use it when they ride their bikes, or to make movies.

If it's for road safety rather than just for fun then most people rate Techalogic.

I've seen Chilli recommended as a cheaper alternative but never tried it or seen the footage.
