Horse riding break in the north west?

Hi, unexpectedly I’ve got a week off on the middle of august….. my son is mad about horses but only just off the lead rein. I can ride independently but am fairly rusty, haven’t been for a year.

I was wondering if there are any sort of horse riding camps me and him can do together! I know it’s really last minute but my other son is away for the week and it’s a great opportunity for us to do maybe three days with daily hacking maybe? Can anybody advise!

There’s a place in Lanarkshire, can’t remember its name! They do horse riding holidays. Mix of lessons and hacks but are flexible with what you do if you ask. Wouldn’t be a long drive from the north west.

Cumbrian Heavy Horses are worth a go.
