Suggestions for waterproof duvet country type coat for yard work please?

Just wondered what everyone is wearing for general country wear please?

Must be fairly classic style, warm, light, waterproof and longish thigh-length eg covers my bum (I am tall) and reasonably priced.

I looked at Jack Wolfskin but the one I want is £349 which is a bit steep for me atm?

Jack wolfskin doesn’t really hold its value so well worth checking for the one you want on Vinted.

Hold its value? Don’t mean this harshly but in what way? I am planning on using it, not reselling it?

As in there isn’t a big second hand market for them, so it will work in your favour as you’re likely to get a nearly new one for not much money.

I have just bought a long field coat by le Meuix. I'm very impressed with it. It's not thick but it is waterproof and I can wear layers underneath. It's got some really good features, a zipped panel at the back for when you are riding. This panel is reflective too. It has straps for your legs to stop 9lit flapping around in high winds. It looks really smart, which makes a change for me as I usually look like a scarecrow at the yard. I love it.
