DD is a novice but keen rider and will join a local pony club at some point in the next year. She loved the Stacy Gregg books until recently and says she has learned a lot from them. I get her the pony magazine every now and again, but haven't been able to find an engaging fact book that is not too basic. She is a passionate reader and wants to learn all there is about ponies and horses. Also, are there other authors who like Stacy Gregg she could move on to? I hope it's ok to post here rather than in the book section 😊.

This would be worth a look. I got it for a youngster who visits my horses sometimes. I really like this author's approach to horsemanship.
" When a child starts riding, or gets their first pony, don't give them a sparkly whip - gift them this book. The author blends practical horse care advice with a strong message of kindness and understanding."

If she plans to join the Pony Club then get her the PC manual. It obviously isn't a novel type book but it really does cover everything.
I am extremely sad/geeky and used to devour it at aged 9/10 and my 11yr old DD will happily read the up to date version now. However that may just be a defective gene that I have passed down to her 😄
