Winter whinge

Just that really. Sick of the mud, sick of being constantly wet, sick of washing 2 sets of clothes a day because they are either soaking or covered in mud, sick of wet rugs, sick of keeping a PPID + ulcer + colic prone horse healthy through winter. Basically counting down to March and if 1 more person says about the winter solstice I will lose it 😤.
Every winter I wonder why I do this shit 🤔

Because in the spring and summer it will all be a distant memory. And you'd probably go mad with boredom without your lovely hobby 😉. I feel your pain, I have a Cushings pony and a IR pony . Having to soak haynets and them stagger across the field with them is interesting.

I feel your pain too. It is hard work especially with limited turnout, my pony trashes her stable.
I agree I would go mad without her now but it is hard. I managed to ride in the rain and wind today which was good for me!
It will get better in a few months I am hoping!
