I feel traumatised, my first time experiencing having a horse put to sleep. It was the kindest thing but I feel so shocked. It was awful.

Sorry for your loss , we’ve been there 4 times and still have one to go , the first was very difficult mainly because we’d never had to deal with the practicalities before . 💐

I'm so sorry 😢 having a friend pts is awful.

But it's usually the best thing for them. Its us humans that it's worse for.

So sad for you. I haven't had the pleasure of a horse in my life but I have imagined the end must be very hard.

It's the greatest gift we can give, to be able to end suffering. Best wishes for a peaceful mourning.
