Selling my old saddle, hasn’t been used for 6 years since my old horse was PTS and I’ve been hanging onto it for nostalgias sake. Now need to make room and raise funds to pay for dds pony habit. There’s no name on the saddle, it’s a little worn in places, girth straps are well used. It’s 17” medium

An unbranded older GP with signs of wear isn’t going to get much really. Maybe a couple of hundred quid?

I sold dd’s old Albion GP for £150 through Facebook marketplace. It had been regularly checked by our saddle fitter and recently reflocked. I’m afraid I don’t think an old, unbranded GP saddle will go for much but Facebook is probably your best bet

Not much, sorry. £50-£75?

JaffavsCookie · 27/07/2022 19:49

Agree with others, really hard to sell and hardly worth anything. Sorry.

This is what I made with mine.

Have it turned into a bag , it’s really not worth much and that way you get to keep your bit of nostalgia . There is a lady on Facebook who does it PIPPA. , I think she’s in Dorset .

Thanks all I didn’t think it would be worth much but loving the ideas from @Isausernameavailable and @Floralnomad 😁

Have you tried Sheepham saddles, sold mine easy peasy I suggest speak to them first and they arrange pick up. No scammers, good prices and Jo is lovely.

Unbranded with that older seat style I'd say about £50 max - better destined for up cycling as pp has shown. Market is flooded as it is with newer branded saddles that don't seem to shift

Facebook marketplace and equestrian groups on Facebook.

Dont sell somewhere that’ll take commission as the value isn’t that high.
