Livery changing - feed

Eurgh, my bat shit crazy livery owner has changed the livery offer again and will now only feed the horses once a day (hard feed) in the summer when they go out 24/7. My horse has 2 hard feeds a day and needs them to maintain weight but going to the yard every day is a bit much given the distance/work commitments etc and at weekends it'd need 2 visits as staff 'don't do weekends'.

I moved here because they fed them twice a day all summer and no other yard seems to offer that so little point moving.

Any advice on practicalities of switching to just 1 hard feed a day or do I resign myself to daily trips to feed? Plenty of grass all summer.

Might be possible to buddy up with others but horses are turned out in groups, not all fed, so need to be taken aside to feed so not just a case of throwing a bucket in a field.

I’d be annoyed about this! Is it part or full livery?
Is there really nowhere else you can move to?

Started off as 7-day full (out 24/7 in summer but still being fed etc) but this winter they changed it so it only covered Mon-Fri on full unless you paid extra to have weekends covered. Now it's changed again so I'm looking around at alternatives as even part livery closer to home would be more doable. It's just the constant chopping and changing that does my nut in and it's all generated by staffing issues, as in, they don't have enough staff.

Presumably all these reductions in service are accompanied with a corresponding reduction in what you’re paying ?

No, the price remains the same each time they change the offer.
