Horsey films/TV recommendations

My daughter and I love watching horsey films and I'm after some recommendations after we watched a real stinker yesterday ("Horse Camp" on Prime Grin ).

So far we absolutely loved:

"Sunday Horse"

"Heartland"

"Walk Ride Rodeo"

We have also seen all of "Free Rein".

Does anyone have any other horsey movie or TV show recommendations?

@LaPufalina

Thanks both! She did quite like this Esme a year or so ago, will have another look! And no, not seen free rein yet. Lucky DH Grin
Oh god don't go there, it will lead her to Harlow and popcorn (probably not around when she watched a year ago) 😆

Also lead to expense. DD8 now wants ALL the matchy matchy sets and is the proud owner of the this esme riding hat (which was significantly more expensive than the standard non esme hat of the same spec)

I was in a high end tack shop on Friday and was sooo tempted by the mini Rioja Blush she already has musk and doesn't get to use it enough (as we are either doing pony club/shows or hacking, we don't keep him anywhere to show it off!) so sat on my hands.

@LaPufalina dd has the Rioja, she got it for Xmas and now is saving for matching grooming bag and brushes 😆. She wants the musk but it's Oos everywhere now. She's ordered sage as her present from granny and grandad for her birthday next month in an adults Xxs 🙈. We just have share ponies so it will only really be worn at the yard/hacking/the occasional trip to the beach but it seems to make her happy and I guess is a better use of money than plastic tat 😆

I should have bought shares in LeMieux. My daughter has the matchy sets in Rioja, Sage, Oak, Chili, Musk, Inc Blue, Dijon and she just ordered Truffle 🙈 Unfortunately she is at a big riding school where all the kids appear to put on a horse fashion show

@XelaM the series is good but it's the original film we love. Dd is 18 and it's still her go to comfort film.

@LaPufalina dd wanted to recreate the escape scene from the film at a similar age. It took me physically supporting her hanging off the side of the saddle on a very steady pony in walk to convince her that looping her arm around her pony's neck and hanging in mid air at gallop might not be quite as easy as it looks! I also hold it responsible for the fact riding bareback, games, and generally galloping about are the only aspects of riding she's ever really been interested in Grin
My knowledge of kids stuff is wildly out of date, but if you can find it anywhere they quite liked chatter happy ponies.

Watched "Seabisciut" today and absolutely loved the film! I cried Blush but then I'm a wuss. My daughter initially didn't like it because it was about another era, but when the racing started she really got into it and we thought it was brilliant.

Watched "Phar Lap" last night (free on YouTube if anyone else is looking for it). Great film but soooo sad. It was difficult to watch Sad That poor horse had such a tough life

I think you can get Jappeloup with English subtitles, which I enjoyed.
