So which horsey "influencers" have kept you going over the lockdown winter?

I'm back to riding now but these three favourites have kept me sane during lockdown:

Emma Massingale (totally amazing)
Miri Hackett (always excellent)
Olivia Towers (fascinating and incredible stables and home).

Who have you enjoyed following the most?

I'm a big fan of Tina Wallace (Life on the Left Rein) and Emily Dunstan (EMDeventing). And Holly Lenahan on YouTube has just had a really cute foal Smile

QuantumofSolace · 22/04/2021 14:48

Ooh FreyaHazel* don't know any of those! Will have a look!

Piggy March. Her vlogs are great. I liked all the training videos. Not as interested in the event reports though!

Bella Dunseath - rides like an older teenager and she’s 6.
Thoughtsofbean- I have a spooky ex racehorse it’s nice to know it’s not just mine that is so fucking dramatic.
Pippa Funnel is funny and down to earth on Facebook

QuantumofSolace · 22/04/2021 16:37

I respect Piggy massively (obviously!) but don't get on with her You Tube channel for some reason. I don't follow Pippa Funnell but imagine she would be great.

The rest I don't know but it will be very interesting to check them out.

I follow Natasha Baker, a paralympian on Instagram. I also follow the Riding for The Disabled hashtag on instagram as well. They show me what has going on with the local groups. I've seen some lovely pictures, especially from Abingdon RDA in Oxfordshire. Very interesting stuff.

OldSpeclkledHen · 29/04/2021 21:36

Buck Off banter podcast had me in stitches (not literally!) very funny 😆

idontlikealdi · 29/04/2021 21:39

Kizzie and izzies ponies, and Belladunseath if you wan to look at kids doing an amazing job

Ariela · 29/04/2021 21:58

Ashley Harrison Eventing - my daughter knows her, so her vlogs are compulsive viewing at our house, but we really love her dad Harry's comments the most.

QuantumofSolace · 30/04/2021 09:27

Thanks for all of these. I'm going to check them out. I used to volunteer for the RDA so I would be really interested to catch up with their news. Can't have been easy during this past year.

And thanks,, yes, I love watching the ones that feature kids as well. (I have even been known to watch This Esme occasionally!). You can always learn something.

cocoloco987 · 28/05/2021 19:37

DD's are obsessed with Esme. Dd2 even has the lunch box and t shirt 🙄. Personally im a fan of shiteventersunite 😆

Wbeezer · 28/05/2021 19:46

I like Emma Massinggale, Kizzie and Etties Pony Adventures and Geoffrey the Conquerer, ie. I go for cuteness rather than performance.

WoahThereNelly · 06/06/2021 19:13

Blackhill Eventing and Skint Dressage Daddy
