Cambridge stables / pony club / polo

We are moving to Cambridge soon. Would love views on stables and areas to initially rent and where to consider buying.
Kids will go to school in the city (not far from the train station.
I’ll work in Cambridge north.
Kids are horse mad - looking for nearby stables and busy pony club. I’m a beginner at polo too and would love to continue with it if possible.
Bit wary of a town with its own village college /Secondary school, in case the kids are picked on for going to a different school. Is that a fair concern?
Happy to drive in to Cambridge early but hear the traffic is horrible. Also for buying, is there a list of proposed/ planned new developments? Don’t want to buy a rural property and end up in a construction site/new town.

Where should we consider living? Confused

Live to the south of the city, then you can come in to the train station together, drop them off and you take the train across town to the science park (using the Cambridge North station)? If they are older you could live along the track to the north instead and they could carry on to the main station after you have left the train, that would be Waterbeach or even Ely (probably a bit far, though not a long train commute)
There are good stables in Cottenham and at Tick Fen for hacks (and I'm sure these are not the only two!), don't know about polo.

Thanks @BestZebbie, appreciate it. Hadn't heard of Tick Fen and will definitely look them up. Looking forward to hacks under those huge fen skies!
